USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2015 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Maryland Football Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Eric Wallich, Damascus

Wallich guided the Hornets to a perfect 14-0 record and their first state title since 2007. His offense broke the state record with 662 points scored and Damascus outscored foes by an average of 37.9 points.



Funk turned in a historic season, breaking the state record with 57 touchdowns. A Maryland commit, Funk scored seven of those TDs in the Class 3A state final. He rushed for 2,866 yards on the season, averaging 11.5 yards per carry.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Ellison Jordan, Gilman (Baltimore)

Jordan was the monster in the middle of the state’s toughest defensive unit. The Penn State commit recorded 17 sacks this past season to go with 71 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. An Under Armour All-American, he set a school record with 52 career sacks.
