COACH OF THE YEAR: Jamie Tucker, Nashoba Regional (Bolton)
Tucker led Nashoba to a perfect 14-0 season and the school’s first-ever state championship this fall. Long a Central Massachusetts power, this was Nashoba’s first title under the revamped playoff system that has been crowning true state champions since 2013.
OFFENSE
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Coby Tippett, Xaverian (Westwood)
Tippett was the key man in Xaverian’s run to a second consecutive Division 1 state title and a spot in the Super 25. The son of Patriots Hall of Fame linebacker Andre Tippett, Coby logged 1,150 receiving yards and 16 scores this fall for the Hawks. He probably could have taken home Defensive Player of the Year honors as well after picking off seven passes as a defensive back.
