COACH OF THE YEAR: Eric Cumba, St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover)

A year after losing to Windham in the Division II championship game, Cumba led Aquinas to redemption in 2015. The Saints defeated Windham this fall, 10-6, to cap a perfect 11-0 season. For a team that averaged 47.5 points per game through its first 10 games, it was defense and special teams that put Aquinas over the top. The Saints only touchdown in the title game came on a blocked punt returned for a touchdown.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Connor Bourque, Goffstown

Standing 5-foot-5, Bourque is one of the smallest players on the field every time he suits up, but he plays like a giant. Bourque scored 30 total touchdowns to lead Goffstown to a perfect 12-0 season and the Division I state title. Bourque’s three touchdowns in the state final were impressive, but his biggest highlight of the year was a seven-TD game against Manchester Central on Oct. 17.
