COACH OF THE YEAR: Steve Antonucci, Middletown South (Middletown)

Since winning four sectional titles in a row from 2003-06, the Eagles went 0-5 in their next five trips to the big game. Antonucci and his players put an end to that streak this season with a 35-7 win over Phillipsburg to put an exclamation point on the end of a perfect 12-0 season.

Fuller is likely to play his college ball as a defensive back, but as a senior this fall he was unstoppable for Old Tappan’s offense. Fuller caught 33 balls for 773 yards and rushed for another 747, averaging 13.5 yards every time he touched the ball. In the Group IV, North I state final, he even sparked the team as a quarterback with a key touchdown pass in the 17-0 victory over Wayne Hills. The U.S. Army All-American has a top eight of Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, UCLA, TCU and Virginia Tech.
