Rising senior point guard Tony Carr, ranked as the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania by the 247Sports Composite rankings, has committted to Penn State.
Carr, from Roman Catholic High in Philadelphia, chose the Nittany Lions over a number of other offers, including four from other Big Ten schools.
The 6-3 Carr is ranked as the No. 9 point guard in the Class of 2016 by ESPN and No. 52 in the ESPN100.
Roman Catholic teammate Nazeer Bostick, a three-star shooting guard, committed to Penn State in April and their backcourt chemistry should continue in Happy Valley.
