The sophomore led the nation with 5,797 yards and 408 completions while placing fourth with 64 touchdowns. He also set Mississippi’s single-season records for passing yards and touchdowns.
Rated the top center in the state by 247sports, the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder played for the U.S. in the U-18 International Bowl in January after he recovered from an ACL injury sustained during the 2013 championship game. The Ole Miss commit made 41 pancake blocks and was named second-team All-State last year.
The 6-foot-1 senior flew under the radar the last few seasons but made 73 tackles and intercepted 10 passes in 2014, bringing his career total to 25 interceptions.
DE, Noxubee County
The first-team All-State selection is rated the top strong side defensive end in the state and No. 8 in the nation by 247sports. The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder led the Tigers to their third state championship.
The state’s second-leading pass rusher and first-team All-State pick rocked the state like he did opponents when he reclassified in July to be a senior this year. The 6-4, 232-pounder made 150 tackles, and his 25 sacks were second in the state only to his fellow DE teammate.
