There were no 1-A, 2-A or private-school players chosen from WNC. The complete lists can be found at this link.
Asheville Christian Academy’s duo of Corban Crosley and Coleman Compton received all-state recognition from the NCISAA itself after the Lions won the organization’s 2-A state championship on Oct. 31. Carolina Day’s Mac Gourlay was also honored in 2-A while Christ School’s Cal Jansen, Devon Johnson and Young Perry received 3-A recognition on the heels of the first undefeated regular season in school history for the Greenies (13-1-4).
Jones has committed to play college soccer for Emory (Ga.), while Nickol and Perry are both Wofford recruits.
