Why he’s on the team: Made two field goals and 52 extra points in helping the Golden Eagles go 12-2 and reach the Class 4-A state final before losing to South Warren. Had a state-record 89-yard punt against Greenup County. As a sophomore, kicked a state-record 60-yard field goal against Greenup County and also had a 58-yarder against Perry County Central.

Coach’s take: “Some college is going to get a great kicker. The biggest thing about him is that he didn’t start kicking until his sophomore year because he was a soccer guy. He has the power of an American-style kicker, but he kicks soccer style.” – Jim Matney
