Through the remainder of the 2014-15 school year, USATODAYhss.com/Cleveland will highlight five standout high school performances from the previous week. The top athletic feats will be deemed the American Family Insurance All-USA Northeast Ohio Weekly Performers.

Here are the top performances from last week.

Benedictine baseball coach Brian Sliwinski: The veteran skipper earned the 300th victory of his coaching career when the Bengals shut out John Hay 13-0 on April 6. He is in his 20th season leading Benedictine.

Hudson swim coach Matt Davis: The Explorers’ aquatics leader was recently named the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I boys coach of the year.

Nordonia baseball team: After losing its first game in Myrtle Beach, the Knights won four consecutive games to capture the Mingo Bay Championship.

Canfield South Range softball team: The Raiders played five games at the Grand Strand Classic last week and left as champions.

Magnificat lacrosse team: The Blue Streaks defeated the host Warriors in the title game of the Walsh Jesuit Tournament on Saturday.
