Throughout the final two months of the high school basketball season we will highlight five of the area’s stars, as seen on each edition of HSS 2Night Fridays on KREM 2 News at 11. They are our American Family Insurance ALL-USA Inland Northwest Weekly Performers.

Here are the top five players from February 9-14:

Gonzaga Prep guard Laura Stockton: 27 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals against Central Valley. Stockton put up 15 and 10 rebounds the night before against Mead.

Shadle Park guard Shyla Carr: 20 points against Mt. Spokane. Carr is averaging more than 17 points per game, making her the top-scoring guard in the Greater Spokane League.

Central Valley forward Michael Hannon: 24 points in the Bears’ win over Lewis & Clark.

Rogers forward Melik Hampton: 25 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shot against Shadle Park.

West Valley guard Anthony Rice: 19 points and nine rebounds in a win at Pullman.
