Sprague’s Anthony Nunn rushed for three touchdowns in Friday’s 27-14 win vs. West Albany.

It became apparent in the second quarter of Friday’s season-opener who is going to be the feature back for the Sprague High football team this fall.

Senior running back Anthony Nunn rushed for two touchdowns in the second quarter and ran for a third early in the third quarter on his way for running for 110 yards on 27 carries in the 27-14 win against West Albany.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound back rushed for 817 yards and 12 touchdowns in a part-time role as a junior, but Nunn has taken the mantle as the lead back for run-heavy Sprague.

This is the rest of the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Mid-Valley football watch list.
