Red Devils fall
Richmond suffered its first defeat of the season Tuesday as the Red Devils fell to NCC foe Muncie Central 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Isaak Snyder was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for the Red Devils, while Chris Larson was 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI and Chandler Whalen was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
Richmond (5-1, 2-1) hosts Muncie Central 6 p.m. tonight at McBride Stadium.
Northeastern gets bizarre win
FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern knocked off Cowan 6-5 in the bottom of the ninth-inning on a dropped third strike.
With Northeastern batting, Cowan’s catcher dropped the third strike, and Knight Skyler Ashcraft came around to score while Cowan attempted to get the out at first.
The Knights (4-1) will play Thursday at TEC foe Union County.

Cardinals fall to Titans
Tri High defeated Seton Catholic 11-0 in six innings on Monday.
The Titans led 1-0 before scoring five runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings.
Chris Easley had a double for the Cardinals.

Hagerstown defeated Shenandoah 163-201 in a Tuesday afternoon match.
Ben Tinkle led the Tigers by shooting a 37.
Hagerstown will play again at New Castle Wednesday afternoon.

Schuler leads Knights
Garrett Schuler earned medalist honors by shooting a 40 as Northeastern defeated TEC foe Tri High 177-193 Tuesday.
Schuler also led the Knights with a 38 during a 168-179 loss Monday against Franklin County.
Golden Eagles sweep Indians
CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Kiersten Merida, Libby Juhl and Jenny Oberhelman all won singles matches as Lincoln improved to 2-0 in the TEC with a 5-0 win over Union City Tuesday.
Sara Maley and Jamie Buhl won at No. 1 doubles while Kylei Klein and Lydia Bertsch won at No. 2.
The Golden Eagles (3-0, 2-0) will return to action Thursday as they host Winchester.

Hagerstown dominates meet
SELMA, Ind. – Hagerstown won 12 of the 16 events on Monday at the Triangular Meet at Wapahani. Facing the Raiders and also the Randolph Southern Rebels, Hagerstown finished with 83 points, Wapahani had 39, Randoph Southern with 20.
Tiger Martin Block was a key contributor, winning the long jump and high jump while finishing first on the 400 relay team.
