Dylan Baker went 4-for-4 and Kessler Fisher and Tyler Dell both picked up three hits as Northeastern stopped Monroe Central 6-4 on Monday.

Craig Dingwerth and Baker also both doubled for the Knights (7-4), who play host Thursday to Blue River.

Dale tosses no-hitter

Brytni Dale threw a five-inning no-hitter with six strikeouts Monday as Hagerstown halted Liberty Christian 14-1.

The Tigers pushed three runs across in the bottom of the fourth to complete the run-rule victory.

Gabby Willis went 4-for-4 with four runs scored for the Tigers, while Morgan Masters also went 4-for-4 with three runs and three RBIs.

Indians win

Union City defeated cross-town rival Mississinawa Valley of Ohio 11-9 on Monday.

Ellie Kerns was 3-for-5 for the Indians.

Union City plays at home Wednesday vs. Randolph Southern.


Rader leads ’Dogs

Centerville’s Mason Rader captured medalist honors with his 38 on Monday as the Bulldogs defeated TEC foe Lincoln 174-206 on Monday at Highland Lake.

Eric Underwood shot 40 to lead Lincoln, as the Golden Eagles are back to Highland Lake on Friday to face Northeastern.

Centerville (6-0, 4-0) travels Wednesday to Franklin County.

Tigers sweep Pats

Hagerstown swept Union County 5-0 in TEC play Monday.

Savannah Houck, Hayley Hollenberg and Jacqueline Habzansky all earned singles victories for the Tigers (3-3, 2-2). Tawni Brown and Olivia Houck won at No. 1 doubles, with McKenzie Fleming and Mekayla Todd doing the same at No. 2.

Indians defeat Rebels

Union City edged Randolph Southern 3-2 on Monday.


Eagles fall

Eaton fell to 0-12 with a 5-0 loss to Wayne.

The Eagles also dropped matches to Dayton Christian (5-0), Oakwood (5-0), West Carrollton (4-1) and Brookville (5-0). Nathan Hatmaker won for the Eagles at No. 1 singles vs. West Carrollton.


Tigers down Wes-Del

Trent Weiss and Kory Beeson had two hits each on Monday as Hagerstown defeated Wes-Del 14-4.


Tigers rise to 10-0

Hagerstown’s boys team improved to 10-0 with Monday’s 66-34 victory over Centerville.

Ryan Golliher won the shot put and discus for the Tigers, with Mason Hicks taking first in the high jump and 200 and Logan Tuttle winning the 800 and 1,600.


Northeastern defeated Lincoln and Tri in a boys tri-meet on Monday.

The Knights tallied 58 points to 42 for Lincoln and 23 for Tri. Cody Hill won the high jump and long jump for Lincoln.
