WESETFIELD, Ind. – Richmond dropped a 4-1 decision to McCutcheon on Tuesday in the NCC Tournament at Grand Park.
The game started Saturday, but was halted by weather with the Mavericks leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth. Richmond was the No. 3 seed in the East, and McCutcheon No. 2 in the West.
Richmond had four unearned runs.
Northeastern knocked off Winchester 11-0 on Tuesday.
Garrett Dill went 2-for3 for the Knights with a home run, while Craig Dingwerth went 3-for-4 with a home run and two doubles.
Winchester fell 8-3 to Wapahani Monday.
Michael Georgi had two hits for the Falcons, while Brandon Martin, Jacob Gant and Cullen Hall each had one.
Patriot throws perfect game
NEW MADISON, Ohio – Tri-Village pitcher Jonny Wilson threw a perfect game against Bradford in his team’s 10-0 win Tuesday.
He struck out five batters in the tournament victory.
The Patriots will play the winner of Tuesday night’s game between Bethel and Mississinewa.

Marion tops Red Devils
WESTFIELD, Ind. – Marion knocked off top-seeded Richmond 8-4 on Tuesday in a quarterfinal game in the NCC Tournament.
Mackenzie Taylor went 4-for-4 for the Red Devils, with Elissa Tilton adding three hits and Chloe Bennett two RBIs. Ryanne Spicer and Grace Townsend also each knocked in a run.
The game started on Saturday, but was stopped because of weather in the top of the fourth with RHS trailing 5-1.
Eagles top Patriots
CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Lincoln defeated Union County 2-0 Tuesday.
Eagles starting pitcher Danielle Franklin pitched a complete game shutout with eight strikeouts.
Union County (15-9) will play North Decatur Wednesday.

Tigers edge Knights
Northeastern’s Garrett Schuler was medalist with his 39, but Hagerstown edged the Knights 170-171 Tuesday at Highland Lake Golf Course.
Ben Tinkle led the Tigers with a 40.

Tri High defeated Lincoln 179-191 Tuesday.
Eric Underwood was the low score for Lincoln, shooting a 39.

Evan Pflum led the way for Connersville with a 40, earning medalist honors. Cody Frame shot a 46 to led Union County.
