Schraeder struck out a career-high 16 batters and walked just one during a 14-1 win Monday over Marion during Central Wisconsin Conference-10 action on the road. He improved his record to 1-1 on the hill with the big night.
Jungwirth hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning and finished with a 2 for 3 performance to lead the Raiders’ to a shutout win Tuesday over Merrill during Wisconsin Valley Conference action. Merrill was the last unbeaten team in the Valley. SPASH leads the league at 5-1, followed by Merrill (4-1), Rapids (4-2) and D.C. Everest (3-2).
