Montag scored a game-high 23 points during the No. 3 Blackhawks’ 64-52 win over No. 5 Gresham Tuesday night. Port Edwards clinched at least a share of its second straight Central Wisconsin Conference-10 title. It’s the first time that Port Edwards has won back-to-back titles since the program won three straight from 1995 to 1997. Montag needs just eight points to reach 1,000 for his career.

Spray won his 120-pound match by pin in 2 minutes, 10 seconds during the Raiders’ 34-22 win Tuesday over Bay Port during the WIAA Division 1 team sectional match at Pulaski. The win advanced No. 3 Wisconsin Rapids back to the state team tournament for the first time since 2012, which was also their last state championship. Spray is 42-4 entering Saturday’s Division 1 individual sectional tournament.

Roenneburg scored 11 of her 27 points in the third quarter during a 50-31 nonconference win over Cambridge last Friday. The Green Devils are 20-1 with one game to play before the playoffs. They travel to Wisconsin Dells on Friday with the hopes of claiming the South Central Conference title with a perfect league mark. A-F beat Wisconsin Dells 25-18 on Jan. 14.

Schraeder’s 19 points matched Gresham’s team score during a 42-19 Central Wisconsin Conference-10 victory Tuesday night on the road. The Blackhawks are 13-8 overall and 11-6 in the league with one regular season game to play. They are seeded fifth in their Division 5 regional tournament and travel to Bowler next Tuesday for a playoff game.
