Auburn Mountainview quarterback Gresch Jensen has verbally committed to Montana.

Jensen, a rising senior, threw for 1,834 yards and 19 touchdowns last year. He was also Auburn Mountainview’s leading rusher with 649 yards and nine touchdowns. On defense the safety tallied 43 total tackles, including 35 solo tackles and five interceptions.

The 6-foor-2, 205 pound Jensen was named All-SPSL 3A on both sides of the ball this season – first team quarterback and second team defensive back.

He helped Auburn Mountainview to a program-best 9-2 record before the Lions fell to Shadle Park in the first round of state playoffs.

Jensen drew interest from Washington, Missouri, and Nebraska, but didn’t have any offers going into the spring.
