Willow Ridge assistant Kyle Baehler and GlenArbor director of golf Rob Labritz are in position to vault into the lead of the Treiber Memorial Tournament of Champions with a timely birdie or three.
The final Met PGA event of the season uses Stableford scoring.
Scott Ford, a Glen Oaks assistant, picked up nine points on Thursday and leads by two. Baehler made four birdies and two bogeys in the second round, picking up six points. He’s in second place with 14 points. Labritz made five birdies and four bogeys Thursday, picked up six points. He’s tied for third with 13 points.
Only the top eight players moved on.
Saxon Woods head pro Charlie Meola is tied for fifth with 11 points.
