No-hitters are like comets. They’re rare and you have to looking in the right place at the right time to witness one.
On May 13, fans of Roger Bacon High (St. Bernard, Ohio) didn’t have to look very hard. The Spartans made history with a pair of no-hitters on the same night for two sectional tournament wins by its baseball and softball teams.
Sophomore Jeordon Kuderer had 11 strikeouts in his no-hitter, as the boys beat St. Bernard 9-0. Junior Ashton Lindner mowed down Clark Montessori with nine strikeouts in a five-inning 18-0 win.
