The Baxter County Razorback Club’s 22nd annual golf tournament will be held July 25-26 at Big Creek Golf & Country Club in Mountain Home. Proceeds are used to benefit non-profit organizations. Each year, the Razorback Club makes a substantial donation to the Razorback Foundation.
The tournament has a scramble format Saturday and a modified best-ball format Sunday. A shotgun start will begin both days at 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The entry fee is $170 per person with golf carts and a complimentary dinner at Big Creek Saturday evening for golf participants. Gift certificates will be awarded for top finishers of each flight and to the winners of hole prizes.
Andy Wescoat, director of the tournament, said “we appreciate all our generous sponsors, celebrity players and Big Creek Country Club for allowing this event to be played again this year at the country club. This event will make our 22nd tournament the most successful yet.”
Several representatives of the University of Arkansas, including several UA baseball alumni, play in the tournament each year. For more information about the tournament, call Andy Wescoat at 424-2120.
