Jordan Martin scored the game-winning run on Keeshawn Royal’s bases-loaded walk to allow Bayshore Christian (16-5) to advance to tomorrow’s Class 2A championship game at JetBlue Park with a 4-3 win in 11 innings.

Seven River scored first in the fourth inning by way of a balk by Bayshore starter Evan Holland.

Bayshore Christian tied the game in the bottom of the inning on a two out double by Ger’Rokeo Scott. In the eighth inning, Seven River’s Carlos Hallowell was hit in the helmet with a pitch and charged towards the mound, resulting in an ejection. Pinch runner Brock Reed scored on a double by starting pitcher Cory Weiand. Bayshore Christian tied the game on a bases loaded walk in the bottom half.

In the 11th, Seven River’s Caleb Wharton scored on a misplayed groundball to give the Warriors a lead, but in the bottom half, Holland’s RBI single brought in David Santiago to tie the game leading to the River Warriors walk-off victory.

Weiand struck out 14 over seven-plus innings, allowing four hits for Seven River. Holland struck out seven over 8 ⅓ innings for Bayshore Christian. Seven River ends their season at 16-12.
