Host River View scored five times in the first inning and never looked back in an 11-3 win over visiting Rosecrans Wednesday in East Central Ohio League play.

Bryar Cox had three hits and two RBIs, while Jorn Hocter had four strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings on the mound for River View (12-6, 8-2).

Sean Orillion also struck out two in 2 2/3 innings and Trevor Wine also knocked in a run in the victory.

Mason Fisher had two hits and Derek Kunkler knocked in a run for the Bishops.
