The vets, some of whom are still residents, others coming back from out of town, also enjoyed a tailgate party prior to the game and ceremony.

More than 60 veterans were honored, representing every war from World War II to the present, as the student section led a “USA” chant. The hometown Bombers finished off a big night for Boonton with a 47-26 victory over Pequannock.
