Four contestants remain in The Times’ 2015 Prep Fantasy Football contest, and they all reside in Bossier Parish.
Three Bossier City residents and another from Haughton survived Friday’s quarterfinal round. One of those four will claim a $500 gift card to Strawn’s.
That will buy a whole bunch of holiday pies.
Bossier City’s Mary Pittman is the only top-10 seed still alive. She knocked off No. 2 Matthew Sewell by less than nine points thanks to the efforts of Destrehan quarterback Kohen Granier, who scored a week-high 59.15 points with 453 yards passing, 65 yards rushing and five touchdowns.
Three of the four quarterfinal winners selected Granier.
Pittman, No. 10, will face 14th-seeded Stacy Brown of Bossier City. Brown knocked off Eric McDade of Belcher 13 points.
No. 16 Keith Bush tallied the high score of the week (144.8) in a drubbing of No. 24 Bobby Triplet. Bush will fact No. 29 seed Amy Trammel of Haughton, who edged Kent Falting by less than nine points.
