Chillicothe girls take second in SCOL tri-match
In a tri-match with McClain and Clinton-Massie, Chillicothe’s bowling teams didn’t fare as well as they had hoped.
On the girls side, Chillicothe finished second with an overall pin total of 1,832. Clinton-Massie won the match with 1,962 while McClain came in third at 1,232.
Leading the Cavaliers was Michelle Crawford, who rolled a 314 in two games. Overall, Clinton-Massie’s Katie Starnes performed the best individually with a 357 in two games.
For the boys, the Cavs finished third with an overall pin total of 1,944 — compared to McClain’s mark of 2,092 and Clinton-Massie’s final of 2,341.
Barry Warfield was the high bowler for Chillicothe with a 340 in two games while Clinton-Massie’s Aric France had a 483.
The Cavaliers will next be in action Friday against Circleville High School at Shawnee Lanes.
