The Colts were the No. 1 seed in the Shore Conference Tournament and defeated No. 16 seed Red Bank Catholic, 63-49, and No. 8 seed Manasquan, 61-50, last week to advance to the SCT semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Brookdale Community College. CBA will face No. 4 seed Toms River North at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
2. Rumson-Fair Haven (20-4, 3rd)
The No. 11 seed Bulldogs have won nine games in a row and picked up victories over No. 22 seed St. Rose (72-35), No. 6 seed Red Bank (50-42) and No. 3 seed Freehold Township (54-43) last week in the SCT. Next up, Rumson-Fair Haven will face No. 10 seed Neptune at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the SCT semifinals at Brookdale Community College.
3. Toms River North (19-4, 9th)
The Mariners lost to Point Beach in a regular season game on Feb. 14 but have since recorded a 57-51 SCT victory over No. 13 seed Shore on Feb. 19 and a 68-56 SCT victory over No. 5 seed Wall on Feb. 22. Those two SCT wins nullify a regular season loss in an SCT tune-up game for both Toms River North and Point Beach. Next up, the Mariners will face No. 1 seed CBA at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the SCT semifinals at Brookdale Community College.

4. Neptune (15-9, NR)
The Scarlet Fliers rejoin the top 10 after an impressive run in the second half of the regular season, which has carried over into the SCT. Neptune started the year at 3-7 in its first 10 games and has gone 12-2 since then. As the No. 10 seed in the SCT, the Scarlet Fliers knocked off No. 23 seed Howell, 70-45, No. 7 seed Manalapan, 60-52 and No. 15 seed Point Beach, 52-35 last week. Next up, a battle of the double-digit seeds as the Scarlet Fliers face No. 11 seed Rumson-Fair Haven at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the SCT semifinals.
5. Freehold Township (17-6, 5th)
The Patriots beat No. 14 seed Toms River South, 62-59, and lost to No. 11 seed Rumson-Fair Haven, 54-43. Freehold Township will now turn its attention to the NJSIAA tournament as the No. 2 seed in the Central Group IV bracket with a first round game against No. 15 seed Brick Memorial.
6. Manasquan (18-5, 6th)
The Warriors went 2-1 last week with victories over St. Rose (in the regular season) and No. 25 seed Asbury Park (in the SCT) and a loss to No. 1 seed CBA (in the SCT). Manasquan will start its preparation for the NJSIAA tournament as the No. 2 seed in the Central Group II bracket with a first round game against No. 15 seed Cinnaminson.
7. Wall (17-6, 8th)
The No. 5 seed Crimson Knights went 1-1 last week with a thrilling 52-51 win over No. 12 seed Southern and with a 68-56 loss to No. 4 seed Toms River North. Wall’s next big game will come in the NJSIAA tournament as the No. 6 seed in the Central Group III bracket with a first round game against No. 11 seed JFK-Iselin.
8. Point Beach (17-8, NR)
The No. 15 seed Garnet Gulls shocked the Shore Conference with a 67-63 second round SCT upset of No. 2 seed and previous No. 1 ranked Lakewood. Prior to that win, Point Beach had a 59-54 SCT first round triumph over No. 18 seed Matawan. Point Beach’s run ended in the SCT quarterfinals with a 52-35 loss to No. 10 seed Neptune. Point Beach’s next big game is in the NJSIAA tournament as the No. 3 seed in the Central Group I bracket against No. 14 seed Henry Hudson.
9. Lakewood (17-4, 1st)
The Piners lost one game last week and it was a big loss to No. 15 seed Point Beach in the SCT. Lakewood will try to make a run in the NJSIAA Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the Central Group II bracket with a first round game against No. 16 seed Willingboro.
10. Manalapan (14-6, 4th)
The Braves lost one game last week to No. 10 seed Neptune in the SCT. Manalapan will try for an NJSIAA sectional title as they are the No. 4 seed in the Central Group IV bracket with a first round game against No. 13 seed Hillsborough.
