Woodbridge 67, J.F. Kennedy 58 (2 OT): Trailing by four with 13 seconds left in regulation, Keshaun Henry made a layup and was fouled with 7.2 seconds left to cut Woodbridge’s deficit to two. Quassim Glover grabbed the offensive rebound off Glover’s missed free throw and was fouled, making both free throws, to tie the game and force overtime. Zahneer Shuler led all scorers with 30 points for the Barrons (6-3), who out scored J.F. Kennedy 13-4 in the second overtime. Joe Duffy scored 21 points in the loss for the Mustangs (2-8) while Stepp Oziegbe added 17.
Carteret 62, South Plainfield 60: Jaquan Robertson’s 35-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer gave Carteret the victory. The Ramblers led 32-23 at the half before South Plainfield mounted a comeback.
Old Bridge 57, Bishop Ahr 54 (OT): Connor Romano netted 14 points and Stephen Strom added nine as Old Bridge (6-3) prevailed in overtime. Tom Weiler led all scorers with 19 points and Eddie Hayes chipped in 16 for Bishop Ahr (2-6).
Scotch Plains-Fanwood 79, Delaware Valley 53: Leo Ramos scored 35 points, including 6-of-8 from 3-point range, as Scotch Plains-Fanwood (3-6) jumped out to a 38-27 halftime lead. Josh Christ led Delaware Valley (2-6) with 21 points and David Giordano added 13.
Perth Amboy Tech 83, Timothy Christian 44: Josh Decker scored 26 points on five 3s as Timothy Christian (0-9) fell in an early 27-8 hole to Perth Amboy Tech (7-2).
Piscataway Tech 72, Wardlaw-Hartridge 51: Letrell West led all scorers with 19 points and Aziz Austin chipped in 17 to power Piscataway Tech, which broke the game open with a 23-10 second quarter after trailing by one.
South River 87, Highland Park 66: Sean Darrar scored a game-high 32 points to lead South River (5-4). Zachary Torres added 16 points and Mario Nigro netted 15 for the Rams. Will Jacob-Perez topped all scorers for Highland Park (2-6) with 20 points. Piney Harp added 15 and Nasir Boykins had 14 for the Owls.
Dunellen 48, South Amboy 32: Jordan Jones and David Johnson each scored a team-high nine points and Dan Russomanno added eight as Dunellen (6-2) got out to a 19-8 first quarter lead. Ryan O’Leary and Tim Kales led all scorers with 10 points each for South Amboy (3-7).
Manville 45, East Brunswick Tech 44: Carl Imhoff scored a game-high 17 points and Brandon Acosta added nine as Manville (3-5) came away with the win. Noah Westbrook finished with a team-high nine points for East Brunswick Tech (4-5) and Saadiq Riles added eight.
Cardinal McCarrick 55, Marist 51: Gilberto Cue led the way with 15 points and Ralph Menard added 12 as Cardinal McCarrick improved to 10-0.
Ridge 41, Plainfield 32: Max Mahoney picked up 16 points and 11 rebounds and Derek Lyons added eight points to lead Ridge in the Investors Games.
