Rank-Team-Record-Last week’s rank
1. Southern (11-0, 1st)
The Rams keep rumbling along with their undefeated season with their latest victories coming over Freehold Township, Brick Memorial and Lacey. The stat of the year: only one team has scored in double figures against Southern thus far. So the question becomes, can the Rams have an undefeated regular season? It is looking very likely.
2. Rumson-Fair Haven (4-5, 2nd)
The Bulldogs lost to St. Augustine Prep and defeated Ocean Township last week and have now played and lost to four of the top 15 teams (Bridgewater-Raritan, Summit, St. Augustine Prep and Southern) in the state according to Laxpower.com’s New Jersey rankings. So until anyone else in the Shore Conference beats the Bulldogs, they are staying at the No. 2 spot.

3. Howell (8-1, 5th)
Since losing to Allentown on April 13, the Rebels have gone 2-0 including a huge victory over former No. 3 CBA on April 17. That victory pushed Howell into the No. 3 spot in the rankings as the Rebels are in first place in the Class A North division.
4. CBA (6-3, 3rd)
The Colts went 2-1 last week with victories over the Peddie School and St. John Vianney and the Colts had that loss to Howell on April 17. It was the Colts worst loss of the season and the first time since that CBA lost a game to a Class A North opponent since 2010 when Freehold Township beat CBA, 9-8, on April 15.

5. Manasquan (7-2, 4th)
The Warriors went 1-0 last week with a triumph over Jackson Liberty and now have won three straight since losing to CBA on April 9. The next big game will be against Wall on April 25.
6. Freehold Township (6-4, 6th)
The Patriots made their debut in the top 10 last week and lost to Southern on April 17. They’ll stay in the No. 6 spot because they still have a solid season resume and everyone has lost to Southern so far this year.
7. Red Bank Catholic (5-2, 7th)
The Caseys went 1-0 last week with an exhilarating 10-9 double overtime win over Red Bank on April 17. That victory keeps the Caseys in the No. 7 spot and Red Bank Catholic doesn’t move up because it has a recent loss to Freehold Township that is hard to overlook at the moment.
8. Wall (7-1, 8th)
The Crimson Knights have won two games in a row picking up wins over Point Boro and Brick last week. The biggest test of the regular season for Wall comes on April 25 against Manasquan. This game might be for the division title.
9. Ocean (5-1, 9th)
The Spartans who made their season debut in the top 10 last week defeated Long Branch and lost to Rumson-Fair Haven. The next big game is April 24 against St. John Vianney.
10. Barnegat (3-1, 10th)
The Bengals went 1-0 last week with a victory over St. Rose to hold onto the No. 10 spot for another week. Barnegat has a big game against Wall on May 1.
