Boys Soccer: Riverheads stomps past Luray

Riverheads closed out its regular season in impressive fashion Tuesday, cruising to a 9-1 victory over Luray in boys soccer action.

The Gladiators (13-2) were led by James Kasak, who scored five goals and had three assists. Elijah Knopp had three goals and three assists, while Sam Puffenbarger accounted for the remaining goal.

Daniel Cox made three saves in the getting the win in goal.

Riverheads has a bye in the conference tournament. It opens its tourney run on Tuesday against an undetermined opponent.
