Senior Seamus Brazil tossed a complete-game two-hitter and struck out six and walked two to lead host Barnegat, ranked No. 6 in the Asbury Park Press Top 10, to a 2-0 win over Manchester Tuesday in a Shore Conference Class B South game.
The result left Pinelands (3-0, 2-0) and Donovan Catholic (1-0, 1-0) as the only unbeaten teams in Class B South play.
The Bengals (2-1, 2-1) scored the only run Brazil (1-1) would need in the bottom of the fourth when Collin O’Conner walked. Jared Kasco singled and Nik Fraim’s single up the middle scored O’Conner.
Aaron McLaughlin’s RBI single scored Anthony Lani with the insurance run in the fifth.
Kasco had two of Barnegat’s six hits.
Point Beach 11, St. Rose 0: John VanSchoick went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a double and scattered four hits and struck out five and walked three over five innings as the Garnet Gulls (3-0, 3-0) defeated the Purple Roses (0-3, 0-1) in a Class B Central game.
Antonio Garcia was 2-for-3, scored three runs and had an RBI and Joe Delgrippo had three RBI.
TR East 5, Lacey 4: Cole Robbins’ one-out home run in the bottom of the eighth gave the Raiders (2-1, 2-1) the win over the Lions (2-2, 1-2) in a Class A South game.
Toms River East, which trailed 4-2 after five, tied the game in the seventh when Chad Leonard doubled with one out and scored on Matt Corsi’s one-out single to right.
Corsi was 2-for-4 with two RBUI.
Vinnie Dellavolla was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Lacey.
Central 4, Point Boro 2: Senior Anthony Arneth pitched five-hit ball and struck out five and walked none over the first 6 1/3 innings and began the game-winning three-run rally in the sixth with a single as the Golden Eagles (2-1, 1-1) defeated the Panthers (1-3, 0-3) in a Class B South game.
Arneth scored the tie-breaking run after his leadoff single in the sixth when he beat the throw home on a ground ball by Matt Aires.
A sacrifice fly by Tony Colbert plated Thomas Ruscitti with the go-ahead run and a suicide squeeze bunt by Joe Firetto plated Chris Kowalski with the insurance run.

Jackson Memorial 6, Southern 0: Ryan Takacs struck out five, walked two and allowed three hits over the first five innings, John Carello was 2-for-4 with three RBI, Joe DeMaio was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Kyle Johnson was 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI as the No. 4 Jaguars (1-2, 1-2) defeated the Rams (0-4, 0-3) in a Class A South game.
Keyport 9, Henry Hudson 3: Shane Chandler stole home, went 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and scored two runs and Kyle Johnson and Christian Smith each had two hits, scored two runs and had an RBI as the Red Raiders (1-2, 1-2) defeated the Admirals (0-2, 0-2) in a Class B Central game.
Jackson Liberty 8, Lakewood 1: Howard Taylor went 2-for-4 with three RBI and scored two runs and Matt Pinto was 3-for-4, scored three runs and had an RBI as the Lions (2-1, 2-1) defeated the Piners (0-3, 0-3) in a Class B South game.
