Quaker Ridge head professional Brian Gaffney teamed with Glen Oaks assistant Scott Ford to win the Met PGA Team Championship on Tuesday.
They opened with a 9-undr 61 at Gardiner’s Bay on Monday and followed that up with an 8-under 64 at The Bridge and came in two shots ahead of Scarsdale assistant Pete Catanzaro and Wykagyl assistant Paul Selvaggio.
St. Andrew’s head pro Greg Bisconti and St. Andrew’s assistant Tyler Jaramillo were tied for third.
The pros also spent Monday afternoon checking out the newest gadgets, clubs and soft goods during the Met PGA Expo.
