Ed McCaffrey and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation organize the Dare to Play Football Camp
KUSA — The McCaffrey Dare to Play Football camp was held Saturday, June 20 at Valor Christian High School. The camp allows both males and females ages eight and up with Down syndrome learn fundamental touch football skills with Broncos offensive guard Ben Garland, linebacker Danny Trevathan; as well as former tight end Joel Dreessen and offensive guard Chris Kuper.
Ed McCaffrey, former Denver Broncos wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl champion with the Broncos, and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation came together to give these athletes one-on-one attention from Valor Christian high school football players and their coaching staff on football.
The event also hosted the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders Dare to Cheer Camp at Valor Christian.
