Brownsburg junior running back Toks Akinribade was offered by Michigan on Tuesday, Brownsburg coach Brett Comer said.
The 6-foot, 210-pound Akinribade rushed for 1,579 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. He is ranked as a three-star prospect by 247sports and the No. 2 in-state running back in the 2016 class behind Winchester’s Kiante Enis.
The offer from Michigan is arguably the biggest to date for Akinribade. He also has Big Ten offers from Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. He as a number of offers from Mid-American Conference schools as well as Boston College and Cincinnati.
Akinribade rushed for 1,073 yards as a sophomore and 891 yards as a freshman.
