Brownsburg quarterback Hunter Johnson rescinded his commitment from Tennessee on Monday and committed to top-ranked Clemson, Brownsburg’s coaching staff confirmed.
Johnson, ranked as the No. 1 quarterback recruit in the 2017 class by 247sports.com, had committed to Tennessee in August. Johnson passed for 2,545 yards and 31 touchdowns as a junior for Brownsburg.
Johnson is ranked the No. 17 overall prospect in the class by 247sports.com. He visited Clemson over the weekend prior to making his commitment.
