Ashley Burns’ homerun swing in the fifth inning with the bases loaded and two outs provided St. Joseph Central Catholic’s softball team with enough runs to beat Arcadia 4-3 Friday in a non-league matchup.
The Redskins answered with two runs in the top of the next frame and added another in the seventh inning.
Be Reardon was the winning pitcher going seven innings and striking out four. Natalie Zysky had two hits for St. Joe (6-4).
