There is good sportsmanship, and then there is truly remarkable sportsmanship. Chalk what Orange Lutheran’s football program just did to the latter.

Dominguez star running back Henry Williams was injured during his school’s annual SoCal faceoff against Orange Lutheran. The senior left the game with a knee injury that was expected to sideline him for 6-8 weeks.

With Williams sidelined and rehabbing his injury, it would be easy for him to feel down and sorry for himself. Orange Lutheran didn’t want that to happen, so OLu sent the back their best wishes … in the form of a giant “Get Well Soon” card.

It was a nice gesture from a classy Orange Lutheran team, and one surely appreciated by Williams, who will is expected to make it back before the end of the season.

No word on whether Williams reciprocated OLu’s card with a Thank You card of his own.
