CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Catholic Cougars finished an undefeated 2015 season with another dominant performance, shutting out Providence 28-0.

For Catholic, it was shutout number five on the year. The Cougars only allowed opponents to score 50 points all season long, and only twice did they allow more than 10 points.

John Walton showed off his arm again, finding John Newman for a 41-yard touchdown. Newman found the endzone again in the final minute of the second quarter, taking a 14-0 lead to the locker room.

Charlotte Catholic will open the first round of the playoffs with a home date next Friday.
