Monroe Central (4-1) hosts Wes-Del (2-3), with the Golden Bears coming off its first loss of the season last week, a 14-0 defeat against Tri-Central. Tyler Writtenhouse leads the charge for the Golden Bears, averaging 86 yards on the ground.
After notching a 43-29 victory against New Castle, Yorktown (3-2, 1-2) travels to Shelbyville (5-0, 3-0) for a Hoosier Heritage Conference matchup. Brogan Miller has thrown six touchdowns for the Tigers, while Jordan Spangler and Dawson Allen form a dynamic backfield duo, combining to rush for 993 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Also in HHC action, Delta (3-2, 2-1) hosts New Castle (1-4, 0-3) as the Eagles try to extend their winning streak to three games coming off a 29-26 win over Mount Vernon last Friday.
Kiante Enis will again shoulder the load as his Winchester Golden Falcons (4-1, 3-1) travel to meet the Union City Indians (3-2, 2-1) in a Tri-Eastern Conference matchup. Vying for the Mr. Football award, Enis is averaging 169 rushing yards per game to go along with 10 touchdowns.
Jay County (2-3, 1-2) heads north to face off against Woodlan (5-0, 3-0) in an Allen County Athletic Conference game. The Patriots’ Cole Stigleman has scored four touchdowns on the ground.
