CHS softball scores 7 runs late to pull away for win




Clarksville High’s pitching and defense held West Creek down while the Lady Wildcats’ offense exploded for seven runs in the seventh inning as CHS dropped West Creek 9-0 in a District 10 softball game Friday night.

The Lady Coyotes managed just three hits off Clarksville pitchers McKenzie Rose and Lindsey Eldridge. Meanwhile, Taylor Woodring went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI. Haley Bearden finished with a run and an RBI, and Peyton Wilson also had a run and two RBI in the victory.
