Christ School senior John Fulkerson’s stock as a college basketball recruit remains in the stratosphere.
Clemson and Georgia are the latest two Division I scholarship offers for the 6-foot-8 forward from Kingsport, Tenn.
Fulkerson now has at least 23 offers, including two from the Southeastern Conference (the Bulldogs and Tennessee).
Fulkerson’s full list of offers are from the following schools: Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, UNC Asheville, Appalachian State, Ball State, Bucknell, Charlotte, Duquesne, East Tennessee State, Evansville, Florida Gulf Coast, Gardner-Webb, George Mason, High Point, Liberty, Middle Tennessee State, Navy, Northeastern, Radford, Samford, South Carolina Upstate and Winthrop.
Last season was Fulkerson’s first at Christ School and he was mostly unsung – Appalachian State was his only offer all winter long.
Fulkerson tied a single-season school record with 93 blocks last season for the Carolinas Athletic Association champion regular-season and tournament champion Greenies (24-9). He also led the team in scoring (10.0 points per game) and rebounding (6.1 rpg.).
