The Corydon boys’ basketball team’s Bronson Kessinger was nominated for the McDonald’s All American Game, set for the United Center in Chicago on April 1. The team will be announced on ESPNU on Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. Kessinger, an Indiana State recruit, is one of 22 Indiana players eligible for the final team.

Boys’ basketball games to watch this weekend: On Friday, Floyd Central (6-2) at Jeffersonville (2-8), 7:30 p.m.; and Madison (8-1) at New Albany (9-2), 7:30 p.m.. On Saturday, Jeffersonville at Providence (5-5) at 7:30 p.m.; New Albany at Scottsburg (9-3) at 7:30 p.m.; and Charlestown (4-7) at Christian Academy (12-3) at 7:30 p.m.
