Coshocton broke open a 4-4 tie in the sixth with four runs and then padded the advantage with two runs in the seventh for a 10-5 victory over host Rosecrans Wednesday in East Central Ohio League baseball action.
Conner Roahrig had two singles, a double and one RBI, Andrew Mason had two hits and an RBI and Logan Hough added two singles and an RBI to lead the Redskins (3-0).
Roahrig also earned the win on the mound, giving up two hits with no strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings pitched. Gavin Gray started the game and gave up one hit with three walks and seven strikeouts.
Evan Lynch went five innings and surrendered eight runs with three walks and one strikeout in the losing effort for the Bishops (0-1).
All five of Rosecrans’ runs were unearned and the teams combined for nine errors in the game.
