The Cotter Junior Warriors improved to 2-0 on the season and advanced at the Jasper Junior Invitational with a 41-31 victory over Western Grove on Monday night.

Cole Adams paced Cotter with 18 points, while Dylan Dwyer and Cameron Plumlee added eight points each. Cotter will play at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday in the next round.

The Junior Lady Warriors fell 32-21 to Western Grove in the first round of the tournament.

Samantha Sanchez led Cotter with 12 points. The Junior Lady Warriors host Bruno-Pyatt on Thursday.
