Storm Parish and Andrew Maryanski both went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Spartans. Ryan Kastner earned the win in relief with four strikeouts in two innings. Anthony Kuzmenko went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Rutgers Prep (6-11).
Gill St. Bernard’s 11, North Plainfield 2: Matt Taylor had a double and a home run on a 3-for-3 night with three RBI for Gill St. Bernard’s (13-6). Robert Berman earned the win, scattering seven hits in six innings. Tyler Rayner hit a solo shot for North Plainfield (8-6).
Ridge 10, Phillipsburg 6: Bobby Moskow drove in five RBI with a single and a home run for Ridge (10-6). Pete Matarazzo scored twice and plated two runs for Ridge. Matt Bates took the win with four hits and five strikeouts in five innings of work. Jake Knoble hit a two-run single and Karrick Stansberry scored and knocked in a run for Phillipsburg (6-11).
Voorhees 8, Delaware Valley 7: Kyle Pierson and Tyler Knoll each went 3-for-4 for Voorhees (6-8). Knoll scored two runs with an RBI and Pierson plated two runner with a run scored. Mike Pilone and Scott Becker each scored for Delaware Valley (8-10).
New Providence 11, Johnson 7: William Faucher went 3-for-3 with four runs scored and an RBI for New Providence (5-15). Thomas Rispoli also had three hits with a double and a triple, driving in three for the Pioneers. Matt Timpone and Tyler Curto cracked two-run doubles for New Providence.
Pingry 10, Manville 0 (5 innings): SophomoreJack Laurent allowed just two hits through five innings and collected three strikeouts in his first varsity win for Pingry (9-7). Justin Friedman went 2-for-4 with a solo shot and an RBI single, while Joe Possumato scored three runs for Pingry. Jared Matisak and Chris Garcia both singled for Manville (3-11).
J.P. Stevens 7, Piscataway 4: Daniel Tricario hit a two-run single and Charles Mitchell plated another for Piscataway (10-11). Zach Merring scored a run for the Chiefs.
