ROBERTA – The most tenured coach in Central Georgia is busy preparing for his first state title win since the early 1980s.
The team is comprised of a young and talented roster without any seniors in the lineup. Clyde Zachery has been the head boys basketball coach at Crawford County for the past 43 years. Zachary is no stranger to the big game winning back to back titles in 1981 and 82 with superstar Kenny Sky Walker who went on to play at university of Kentucky and the NBA. Zachery says this years team has a shot to raise another banner as well because of a simple chemistry trait on and off the floor.
Game time is Friday afternoon at 4:45 at the Macon Coliseum versus Seminole County
