SPECIAL SECTION: Gannett Central Wisconsin Media High School Sports Awards
Sports memory: My favorite high school sports memory was going to the state basketball tournament in Green Bay at the Resch Center and playing in the Division 1 State Championship game against DSHA, and even though we didn’t win bringing the Silver Ball to my high school we the best experience ever.
Advice: You only go through high school once and it goes by fast. Take advantage of every moment and never take it for granted. There will always be hardships and adversity; push through them, keep working hard and set goals, it will pay off in the end. Most important, never give up on yourself.
Inspiration: My family has been my inspiration through it all. My dad has coached me my whole life and having him as a high school coach is truly a blessing. My mom, my siblings Chrystal, Mike, Megan, and my nephews, Ty and Jax, have been my No. 1 fans and inspire me everyday to work hard and do my best.
College plan: I plan on attending Alverno College in Milwaukee to play both basketball and softball, and majoring in either social work or education because I either want to be a social worker or a teacher and most likely a coach as well.
