Chef of the Week
In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.
This week’s “Chef of the Week” award goes to Houston Hoops guard De’Aaron Fox for dropping, count ‘em, 40 points, four rebounds, four assists and six steals in a win over EP Elite at the Nike EYBL Houston last weekend.
Houston Hoops is now 9-3 in league play.
Poster of the Week
This week’s Poster of the Week winner is Bishop O’Dowd (Oakland, Calif.) point guard Paris Austin for the vicious one-hander he threw down at the BallIsLife All-American practice last week.
Austin, a Boise State signee, leaked out on the break, caught the homerun pass from his teammate, took one dribble and rose up over a trailing defender for the jam.
And, yes, it was plenty vicious.

Oh No They Didn’t!
This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.
This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Jefferson City (Jefferson City, Mo.) wing O.G. Anunoby, an Indiana signee, for throwing down a, wait for it, 180-degree, between-the-legs dunk.
