Denton High School Broncos
A Denton High School assistant football coach is under investigation for possibly having an improper relationship with a student, Denton police confirmed Monday.
The coach has resigned.
A school employee reported the alleged relationship to a resource officer last Thursday, police said.
A City of Denton press release sent out Tuesday said the police are working with the district to investigate the allegation.
The Denton Broncos football program went 8-4 in 2014.
