FORT COLLINS – Thousands of visitors are expected to travel to Colorado for the Triple Crown Sports Colorado Sparkler, Fireworks and Sparkler Juniors softball tournaments that will be held now until July 5th.

These events will generate more than 3,000 games on 133 fields at 30 sites in Denver, Aurora, Westminster, Erie, Loveland, Greeley and other communities.

Triple Crown Sports, based in Fort Collins, expects to have more than 800 teams taking part (ages 12-18) with about 600 college coaches in attendance.

The Colorado Fireworks team has highlighted fastpitch talent for generations. This invite-only tournament brings the best U-16 and U-18 teams to the 12-field Aurora Sports Park and enters its 46th year in 2015.
