After another weekend of high-scoring Super 25 games, the finale ended up being a defensive struggle as Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) downed No. 24 Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, La.) by a score of 10-3.
Bosco finished with 187 yards of total offense to Rummel’s 185. In the first half, Rummel had 113 yards to Bosco’s 111.

As pointed out by NJ.com, Don Bosco entered the game 26-4 against out of state foes in coach Greg Toal’s tenure and has only lost once at home.
Rummel got the ball with 18 seconds remaining in the game and had a chance at a Hail Mary as time expired.
The lone score in the second half was a 30-yard field goal by Ethan Cordero with 6:15 to go in the third quarter.
Rummel took a 3-0 lead when Alex Bollinger hit a 27-yard field goal in the second quarter. Malik Bakker then scored the game’s lone TD on a 4-yard run.
For Rummel, it was its first regular season loss in two years.
