As pointed out by NJ.com, Don Bosco entered the game 26-4 against out of state foes in coach Greg Toal’s tenure and has only lost once at home.

Rummel got the ball with 18 seconds remaining in the game and had a chance at a Hail Mary as time expired.

The lone score in the second half was a 30-yard field goal by Ethan Cordero with 6:15 to go in the third quarter.

Rummel took a 3-0 lead when Alex Bollinger hit a 27-yard field goal in the second quarter. Malik Bakker then scored the game’s lone TD on a 4-yard run.

For Rummel, it was its first regular season loss in two years.
